The American Association of Community Theatre (AACT) is the national voice of community theatre, representing the interests of its members and over 7,000 theatres across the U.S. and the armed forces overseas. This membership will connect us to a national support system which will allow us to share ideas, experiences, problems, and successes with community theatre people nationwide. Additionally, this association with AACT will allow us to expand our skills through conferences and workshops in fundraising, theatre management / governance, play production, adjudication, and more.

The Ohio Community Theatre Association (OCTA) serves as the main community theater association for the state of Ohio. It offers listings of participating theaters, theater regions, and upcoming associated events.
